I find this comment amusing as it serves so well to highlight the absurdity surrounding global warming. Ice was in the path of the Titanic that fateful Sunday in 1912 because it had been an unusually warm winter and the bergs and pack ice had drifted further south then was normal.

So here we have a case of unusually warm weather over 100 years ago, that contributed to one of the greatest maritime disasters in history. Too bad Al Gore wasn't around he could have just blamed the whole thing on global warming and then there wouldn't have been a need for two separate legal inquiries in two different countries in to the cause of the disaster.
