Keith's brother, Wendell, had surgery Monday afternoon. First, he was treated with a blood thinning agent and also for a bladder infection. But doctors were unable to remove the stones laproscopically. They removed the gallbaldder in the traditional way in a two-and-a-half-hour procedure. Apparently, he lost a lot of blood. During the operation, a duct was nicked, and they might have to go in and fix that at a later date. Wendell is presently in an ICU.
Prayers for Wendell and his wife, Doris, will be much appreciated.
