Well it sounds like you know what your doing.
I made one quilt years ago for my mom. Its so crooked its unbelievable.
But on the top I transferred old time family photos and then newer ones of grandkids and great grandkids for her so she loved it anyway.
Now i have it. But i swore never again!! Way too much work.

I sat on the floor tying off threads for hours My rear end and back were never the same again !!!
