However the newer Kindle is easier to read in regular light and the page refreshes at a must faster rate.
I also have to qualify that I use these for mostly tech information and not for recreational reading. I actually haven't fired up the Sony in almost a year.
Yep, the 500 was the first one. I have the 505 which experts still keep saying is the best screen out there. I haven't read on my Ipad yet, other than magazines.
