Years ago we sailed on Premier Cruise Lines on the Island Breeze. Even though the ship was small by todays standards, it was one of my favorite cruises.
One of our sea days, they offered a tour of the bridge. Nothing to sign up for, nothing to pay extra, you just showed up and they took you onto the bridge. Being that the ship was built in 1962, the bridge was very sparse in high tech electronics. Other than a LORAN, Radios, Radar and a lone Garmin GPS, that was as all these Italians needed to take us on our voyage:-)
So, if you get a chance do it!
