I used to laugh when Simon Cowell would say that someone sounded like a cruiseship singer.
I've heard some great talent on cruiseships (and some bad talent too).
I think one of the American Idol finalists one year was on one of the Royal ships. She made it to top 5, and then ended up pusuing a career in acting.
