Royal Caribbean does not charge for the ice skating, rock climbing, flow rider, mini golf, or zip line. Basically, none of the activities have a fee associated with them (except for use of the golf simulator - which is $20).
As for what dining has a fee, here's my understanding:
*Pizzaria - FREE
*Ice Cream (I see Ben & Jerry's but do they have other ice cream and is it free?) - SOFT SERVE IS FREE / BEN & JERRY'S IS PAY
*bakery (including cup cakes) - CUP CAKES YOU HAVE TO PAY
*Johnny Rockets - $4.95 PER VISIT CHARGE (COVER CHARGE)
*Starbucks - PAY - SIMILAR PRICING AS YOUR LOCAL STARBUCKS
*Hot dog stand - FREE
Please note that you can review all the specialty dining options on their website and even pre-reserve dining times. You'll have to "pre-pay" the cover charge to dine at the specialty places; however, you can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of your reservation and receive a complete refund. The only down side is they get your money up-front (like a shore excursion); but you can back-out later. If you do cancel, the funds are automatically returned to your credit card you orginally purchased the enhancement on. Generally the refund occurs at the conclusion of the sailing (they process a bulk of refunds on turn-around day after closing the voyage out of the computer).
