Hi Kuki, our first cruise was in 1973 on Sitmar Fairseas to Mexico, I think we were the youngest people on the ship at that time. There was not that much to do, after three days I sat by the pool and drank beer. No shore activities, and you paid as you went for drinks/wine. I won't say it was a bad experience, but it was not until 2001 that we tried cruising again. Alaska on Princess totally different product. I did not plan to like it, but rented a tux and joined in on loads of on board activities. We both had a blast and were hooked. I think we will complete number twenty five this year. Not to bad considering I have only been retired for two years. Mike
