I would also be very irritated if I had people next to me slammer their balcony door because I was smoking on my balcony when I was told by the cruise line that I could as I also paid extra for it.

Too bad. Deal with it. Same as us nonsmokers have to deal with the stench and inhaling your secondary smoke.
