I will certainly miss him. His work conveyed the happy feeling I get when I cruise. The ships of later years had toned down quite a bit in my opinion. The spirit class leaned more toward quiet elegance. I love Spirits quiet coppery colors with the dark woods. Pride with its Renaissance themes is lovely and I enjoyed that ship a lot.
In the Conquest class I really loved Glory's happy colorful feeling. Cheerful throught the ship. Liberty with the Mediterranean feel to it. I was completely fascinated with the huge chandelier in the central atrium. The ever changing colors.
Who could ever forget the glitzy ships of the late 80's and into the 90's Celebration, Sensation, Imagination, Inspiration? Loud, proud and in your face decor. Whimsical and fun.
I certainly hope that whoever replaces Mr Farcus does not take away the fun flavor that Carnival is famous for.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.“
