Good Morning Gang,
Happy Wine Down Wednesday. The snow was spitting yesterday and we have a little dusting on the ground this AM.
Kat - I think the favorite port was Colon. We went to the Gatun Locks and watched the boats go up and down. It was pretty fascinating. The DW's favorite port might have been Cozumel - she walked away with a new ring.
We did try the fish n chips, it was a little disappointing, but we went later in the afternoon so I wondered if it would have been better to have gone when they were busy and food was turning over more quickly.
We ate in the MDR all week. Our table partners only showed up once the whole time so we sat and chatted alone. The tables on either side of us were empty. Felt a little isolated. Had to get our daily yogurt or ice cream. (Someone told us on our first cruise that those machines keep the ship running, so we don't want to make it stop.)
Four sea days were very wonderful. We spent a lot of time doing nothing on the balcony or one of the upper decks. At night we hung out at the piano bar and had a great time.
All I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by; John Masefield
