Obviously all of our "techies" are out cruising or out for the evening.

I know almost nothing about computers but I do have Wi-FI and I guess a router and yes I pay I think $35 a month for DSL. I also have a Nook, which is just I guess another brand of E-Book.

But I was wondering. Since your Kindle is set up for Wi-Fi, could you not maybe go to a Starbucks, Atlanta Bread, or some store or restaurant that provides free WI-Fi and download your books there? Of course those are not protected Wi-Fi sites so you might want to try, if you can, and set up your account by phone.

Maybe none of this is possible or feasible in practice but in theory I thought, "Why not?"
