We are looking for 2 people who would like to take advantage of a wonderful opportunity to see St. Petersburg "up close and personal."
We are English speaking Americans sailing on the Oceania cruise line's Marina, leaving Copenhagen June 11th. When we began to plan our shore excursions in St. Petersburg, we saw that there were no afternoon excursions and, therefore, no way to see everything there is in St. Petersburg or to fully use the time we had in port. Our travel agent suggested a private excursion company in St. Petersburg (they also have an American office). By touring with them, no visa is required. They came up with a jam packed 2-day itinerary from 9-6:30 the first day and 7:30-4 the 2nd day. The tour price includes the Hermitage, Peterhof (the Russian Versailles), Catherine's Palace at Tsarskoye Selo, the Great Choral Synagogue, the Savior on the Spilled Blood Cathedral, a boat trip along the canals of St. Petersburg, a city orientation drive viewing some of the other highlights, photo stops and lunch on day 2. It also includes a private, air conditioned car, highly qualified English speaking guide, entrance fees to the museums, photo fees at the museums and a boat trip on the canals. The cost is about $560 per person for the 2 days if we are a group of 4 persons. We must book soon to lock in the service.
If you are interested in joining us on this two-day tour of St. Petersburg, please respond soon.
