We just sailed on Zuiderdam and enjoyed it immensely. We're not old people, but we like the quiet dignity of HAL's ships.
We chose self-disembarkation because of our flights, and were off the ship by 8 at the latest. It's important to choose this option if you feel you are going to be in a jam.
