I would love to do a cruise to nowhere. Does anyone know how they get pubilcised or promoted?
My reasons for taking a cruise to nowhere:
- we love to gamble, and the casino would always be open. On a regular cruise, the casino closes down during port days.
- we love the MDR and hate the buffet, and my expection would be that the MDR is always open for lunch because they are all sea days. On a regular cruise, the MDR is usually closed for lunch on port days, and you have to eat in the buffet.
- more activities are generally planned on sea days. If you like to do things on a cruise, here is your chance.
- we generally don't do much on port days, other than walk aroundn the port. We have no interest in pricy excursions .... if I want to see Costa Rica, I'll plan a holiday in Costa Rica, not try and get a glimpse of the location in a few hours. So for us, we would not miss excursions one little bit.
Much depends on your reasons for cruisnig. We cruise because we like to gamble, watch shows, eat. We get that on board.
Some people cruise for a glimpse of each port and the opportunity to see places they haven't been. If you are one of those people, you would not enjoy a cruise to nowhere.
