You can have a similar effect if you like roller coasters (as I do) and ride one several times at an amusement park. I think it varies with each person as to how long it takes to get your "land legs" back. If you're not feeling queasy, try a light snack before bed. Maybe a glass of milk and a couple of cookies ( "Chips Ahoy" is kind of appropriate).
