You are exactly correct. After reading another thread about smoking on Princess with a press release from Princess, I called again to Princess and got a completly different story. The first story that I was told was incorrect. My bad.

This is absolutely an unfair decision and even though I have been elite on Princess for many years, my next cruise in September will probably be my last on Princess. I have just called and cancelled my b2b cruise to Alaska and will look elsewhere on how to spend my vacation dollars.

I don't happen to drink but to those who think this is fair then I would ask, if Princess is so concerned about the health of passengers then why don't they ban all sales of alcohol and wine on all of their ships?? It would not have anything to do with $$$'s would it? I had to laugh when I read that you can still smoke in the casino!!!! Again $$$

With integrity nothing else matters; without it nothing else matters.
