I once posted on John Heald's FB blog that before I'd order another flat iron steak I'd order a steak. Voila - hamburger appeared on the new menus - and I did, but mostly to take a picture and a taste. A much better choice than the flat iron. But flat iron on the menu is not that new.
Over all the menus are mostly the same, albeit reformatted. I really don't think a lot of the complaints are justified.
Occasionally I may not care for something on Carnival, but I can always choose something else. I think Carnival has a good mix for their target market which is basically world domination, or at least the US market. They never will please everyone with all selections.
I've been on lots of Carnival cruises and have always thought the food overall, was very good, especially for the price of the cruise.
