I go with the idea that "fluff" makes the best cruise reading. My local library has an annual excess-and-donated book sale at which I normally buy at least 20 paperbacks, some light mysteries, humorous novels, science fiction, historicals. They get read on airplanes, cruises, and other away-from-home times and then either tossed out, given to someone else, or added to the exchange pile on the ship.
