Default Cabin Lighting

Most cruise ship cabins I have been in had the following lighting options; bathroom, bedside lights, some sort of desk light, and then all the other lights in the room. That often includes a pretty worthless florescent light over the balcony door / window. That means when I need to look in the closet I must illuminate the entire cabin. Perhaps a little more zone lighting could be provided, of course it would be pretty much prohibitive to retrofit existing ships but might be something to consider on new bulids

All I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by; John Masefield
