I think Golden 1 just happen to choose a smoking area and didn't realize it at the time.
The great news is that in another 30 days the smoking lamp will be out in rooms & balconies and we can enjoy ourselves without being smoked out every 15 minutes. The smokers will have their designated smoking areas & I'm sure most people will respect them.
