Kevin insisted on Whitney for the role in The Bodyguard . He also insisted on the I Will Always Love You song . Although he was married at the time there is supposition that he and Whitney fell in love while making the film .

Two years later Costner was divorced but Whitney was already with Bobby Brown . My thinking is had she been with Kevin Costner she would never have resorted to drugs .
