I have taken my two favourite adult beverages, Tawny Port and single malt scotch aboard in my carry on bags and never had a problem. I tried putting it in my checked baggage once and got nailed. I guess the way I wrapped it to prevent breakage.
Some days you get the chicken and some days just the feathers.
Take a cork screw and avoid the corkage fee or tip the head table waiter an extra $20 and see what happens.
