I may have lived far away up in Canada, but this day affected us too. I remember seeing the horror unfold on the news just before leaving for work that day. At the daycare we had a tv on in the office all day for updates. Nobody could believe what was happening, and I can remember being fearful of hearing airplanes passing overhead for weeks, and suspicious of people on my regular communter train.
This day changed life as we knew it for an awful lot of people.
Sympathies go out to those who lost loved ones that day..
