Overall, I would have to say the food on Celebrity is the best of all the mass-market cruise lines. But as we all know, food is very subjective and what one person thinks is wonderful, another won't like at all.

However, the absolute most fantastic meal we've ever had on any ship has got to be the prime filet mignon and shrimp we had on the Paul Gauguin. The steak was so tender you could cut it with a fork and the shrimp was fresh, not frozen. The dessert was unbelievably decadent! The whole meal was to die for! And the best part about it, unlike all the mass-market cruise lines where you have to order something like this in a specialty restaurant for an additional fee, there was no charge for this magnificent meal. Plus, they served a superior wine that was also complimentary.
