One of my cruises was on Home Lines "Homeric" I think their system was great. On the first day of the cruise you could go to the lido and talk to the deck steward and get your chair assigned. You got to pick the place and the deck steward would put out your chair every day with your name on it. This system worked well. I never had to wait for a chair and it was always there.
