Default Need Information on Hong Kong

Nancy and I just found out today that we're going on the Oceania Nautica doing a 17-night cruise from Hong Kong to Beijing on Feb 21st.

It's not a great time to cruise, except they'll be no tourist! But our daughter, who's in the Navy, is currently on a 6-month deployment in Okinawa and the itinerary includes spending a day there, so she's very excited about us visiting, if only for a day.

Okay, so here's where I need help; we've never been to Hong Kong and while we do spend two days and one night on the ship there, we will be arriving a day (or possibly two) before the cruise begins. Does anyone have any idea where the ship docks? (I'm waiting for this information from Oceania, but thought I'd ask.) And does anyone have any recommendations of areas for hotels? We get awesome agent rates for the JW Marriott, but I don't know where it is in relation to the airport and pier. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! You can contact me by phone or email if you have any information you can share.

We'll also be going to Shanghai for two days, Taipei for two days, Kobe Japan for two days, Hiroshima for a day, Inchon South Korea for a day, and ending with 2 days in Beijing (we'll be spending at least one more day after the cruise is over), so it'll be an awesome itinerary.

Thanks!

Pete
