Yes, but when you're paying for a day aboard a cruise ship and are stuck in a Florida port for that day it's not all that exciting. I can spend a day in Fort Lauderdale anytime and it doesn't cost us $200 for the privilege of being there.
Most of the more traveled Princess cruisers do not appreciate spending a turn-around day doing nothing more than returning to port Everglades to pick up new passengers vs. traveling to more distant islands in the Caribbean.
