As for dress codes. I try not to let how other people dress or act bother me when I'm on a cruise. That being said we love getting dressed up for formal nights. First cruise we went on, and only one with all three kids, was five days. There was only one formal night but the kids wanted to get dressed up for a second night. The oldest girl it did not surprise me but the two youngest (12yr old girl & 13yr boy) did!

There is something special about formal night when "most" of the passengers are decked out. On the last formal night on board Oasis it seemed like almost everyone was REALLY dressed to impress!!! It was really nice!

We are sailing on Celebrity Silhouette in Febuary and we'll be at sea for Valentines Day. I'm thinking about surprising the wife with a tux. Only problem is I think the second formal night will be the next night which is last night and a sea day.
