I get it. I was on HAL just a few months after Celebrity banned smoking on balconies-we must have had 40% of our fellow cruisers were smokers. the promenade deck was awful and so was our balcony and we had never had a problem before-1 or or 2 smokers near you is not a big problem when the ship is moving-but multiple smokers near you is different. I have not been on HAL since though I suspect some of the smokers (Celebrity loyalist smokers) gravitated back to Celebrity when they found HAL was not their cup of tea,even if smoking was less restricted.
