I am glad to hear you had a great time. Your question about seagulls and bugs surprised me, but I could understand asking. The only cruise I remember having any trouble with insects was when we went on a cruise down the Amazon in Peru. It was one of our favorite cruises, but there were a few times onboard that the mosquitoes got a little thick, especially around dusk. There were some great areas on deck with screens so we could enjoy the river and scenery, without those pesky bugs. Even in midst of the wildlife of the Amazon, we never had a bird or other animal attempt to steal our food on deck.

I had the same fears about making connections on our first cruise with Disney. We never experienced a problem. On the Amazon cruise, it was impossible to miss connections. When there are only 70 guests and the cruise company plans all the excursions, you just go with the flow.
