He said he paid for 2 and was told he could change one name later. You really need to read his post again. He was already in a double - he was just changing the name of the second person. Yes, he was given wrong info by the order taker who just wanted the booking.
This is where he should have had a TA in his corner. Travel agents work for the client, not the cruise line.
