Honestly, if anything we have been finding the cruise lines are pretty hard to deal with when it comes to the style of group cruises we used to do.
Our goal was always to save the group money, but the cruise lines won't let you hold onto group cabins that are selling below the official rate. They take them back before we can sell the group.
Group cruises are focused more towards families and affinity groups more than people looking for good deals these days. Until you sell at least a significant number of cabins you are not getting the cost benefits of having a group - so we just don't get the time we need to promote the group and keep the prices we start out with.
