I too would prefer to Tip myself. I am just wondering if it is a big hassle to get the Auto tip taking off and do it on your own? I dont want to go to hte pursers desk and get dirty looks over changing it if possible. Let me know if any of you have taken hte auto tip off.
It's no hassle at all, and I have yet to hear of "dirty looks" when passengers ask the purser's staff to remove the automatic tip because they prefer to tip in the traditional way.
I generally prefer to tip in the traditional way, but I will admit that the automatic tipping is much easier since there's no need to arrange to have the right combination of bills at the end of the cruise.
