Try for mid-ship, Category A. The Category B cabins are identical, but they are closer to the water line and it's a little like being in a washing machine, particularly if you encounter rough seas. Avoid cabins near the stairwells.

The Windstar ships are quiet overall, so you should be pretty happy wherever you end up.
