Am I to understand from all of the above that all cruise lines now automatically add gratuities to your tab and that the only way to escape them is to have the Purser remove the charges before you settle?

Disney documents make it sound like having tips added to your bill is an option you must elect, one I was going to take care of myself.

Since the people at my table always seem to be the last authority on everything, and are usually wrong, sort of like to know in advance.
