We we're on the cruise that was cut short by 2 days as Miami was pretty much shut down and planes could not fly in and the ships could not stay in port. We sailed with RCI and we're compensated with 250$ per person(shipboard credit) and received a voucher for 50% off our next cruise, which is coming up soon.
From what we understand, the ship will still sail and simply change the itinerary should a hurricane be heading towards any of the ports you are scheduled to dock at. We are actually sailing out of N.Y. this time and I think it's a safer bet than sailing out of Florida.
