My husband and I and another couple are going on Radiance on 5-31 coming from South Carolina. I have found that if you carry a zip lock bag ( I use the gallon size, since I have the Sony Mavica w/mini CD) you can put the camera in the bag with the lens pointed out of the opening and you won't have to worry too much about the rain.
