Read your article & we booked a trip from Amsterdam to Vienna on the Viking Danube on 8/16/01. We received our travel documents & the info says "No shorts allowed in Dining Room." We phoned to ask whether this included walking shorts & Bermunda shorts as we will be traveling during August & it'll be hot. They said NO SHORTS. This seems unduly restrictive. Is this typical? What is your opinion on this? This means we have to dress for breakfast & lunch & then run back & change into shorts for tours, etc. when we will be pressed for time anyhow. Thanks for any input you can provide. Lisa S.
