Kuki, I think this pretty matches the consensus:

* People want West Coast sailings in which they do not have to get on an airplane more than once (at the most), with arrival or departure to be within driving distance.

* A 7-nighter+ is preferred.

* Different (or a variety of ports) is preferred.

What comes to mind are the round-trip Alaska from SF cruises (Princess) or less-often-offered ports in Mexico -- Ixtapa/Zijuantenjo, Acapulco, La Paz (HAL, Carnival)
