Thanks fighterone, that was interesting.
I had been told the Vanilla was excellent in Cozumel...but had trouble buying anything because - please don't laugh - it looked "funny". Plus it wasn't as inexpensive as I thought it would be. So I decided to stick with my Watkins - double strength vanilla.
After reading what was written above it sounds like it really doesn't matter for those of us who just use it for baking.
