My fantasy has always been to live on the beach, probably in Florida. My only problem would be missing the change of seasons that we see in Atlanta. I actually like brisk fall weather and bone chilling cold weather. I like a little snow, which is about all Atlanta really gets.
But would I trade it all for a house on the beach? Heck yes!!
My dh has promised for years that he will open a solo practice in Brunswick, Georgia so we can live on St. Simons Island. It's one of our favorite places to vacation (when on land) and is rich in history (special love of ours). I see that happening when he "retires" because, of course, he's NEVER going to really retire, just scale back his practice.
