Any advice on how to get at least an interview for a cruise ship job? I am a career changer, have worked in Human Resources in the finance industry for 8 years. Looking for a job on a cruise ship, specifically Royal Caribbean. Not sure how to market myself since I have a finance (Investment Banking) background.

I am interested in either the purser's or shore excursion depts? Any advice on how I can market myself to at least get an interview?

Also, does anyone know when the best time of the year to apply for such jobs is?
