Default Re: General entertainment

The shipboard entertainment staff is usually pretty good especially when you consider that most are very young and far away from home. Christopher is good and a nice guy and pretty approachable. We were introduced and spent some time with him and his family on one cruise and have a very nice chat. The dancers are something else. Mostly young ladies far from home who work very hard during the shows and are still required to work around the ship in other venues. We have met a number of them and become friends with a few. They really appreciate someone taking interest in them as a person so they don't feel so alone. Remember that they have lives and familys and worries outside of just entertaining you and still have to put on that smiley face for the customers and are always "on". We have been priviledged to take some backstage tours and learn about all that goes on back there during a show and it is really amazing how well this people do with the change of customes and sets etc all while on a moving ship, my hat is off to them. I think that they should actually have a ships tour of the backstage so others can see what all goes into one of these productions.

24 cruises and counting!
