Default Re: Cruise Lines Don't Get It!

My husband and I love the art auctions. We finally had a chance to pick out some art for our home without kids in tow. We had priced serigraphs by the artists we like in local galleries and Park West offered them at significantly lower prices. We have framed most of the pieces, free and purchased, and enjoy them every day. Wonderful memory of our cruise.

I agree with the music comment, it is almost always too loud, with only a couple exceptions. 2 years ago a cruise out of LA on Carnival Elation they had a lovely female string trio that played all classical. We saw them several times throughout the week. The rest of the music was bad and played too loudly. Also RCCL Legend last summer a young man was playing solo acoustic guitar as people waited to go into dinner. My young son got antsy at dinner so he and I strolled out there and were the only ones listening as the guitarist finished his set. I wish the cruise ships would offer more of this quality and type of music.
