i know in port the casino and shops cannot be open. but US marintime law says that they must obey laws of US. the supreme court ruling that US laws apply on ships serving US ports. this past year itwas clarified and it branches to everything after an issue of dircrimating against disabled passengers came up. it set a standard for all other cruise realted cases.
