Default Re: clothing for kids on formal night

I was on the Fascination in 12/01. My 9 y/o son loves to dress for dinner. I would suggest at least one jacket for your son. If he doesn't own one, don't go out and buy one. My son wore dress slacks or khakis, a shirt that has a collar, and a knit vest to match his pants. He didn't change after dinner. During the day he wore shorts. If your kids enjoy dressing for dinner let them do so. I would suggest that they eat dinner in the formal dining room for the experience. With the children almost anything goes as long as it is clean and looks nice. I don't recommend that the children wear shorts for dinner. When I was cruising at your daughters age I wore nice dresses to dinner or matching pants/shirt. Again during the day shorts. If your daughter wears jeans plz take them because the ship could be cool during the evening hours. Have fun on your cruise. I wish that I could be going on that date. Instead I'm doing Orlando for his spring break.
