The slot tournment is great. They will post the start time usually something like 2:00-4:00 play with the winning round at 4:00. Basically you pay an entrance fee of $20 or $10 - something along those lines and are in a group of 10 people. You play for 10 minutes maximum credits for the entire 10 minutes - who ever has the highest score goes onto the big board. Then the next rounds go until the ending time. The top 10 scores for the entire time frame (2:00-4:00) who are on the board play in the final round at 4:00, then the one with the most credits at the end of the big round (again, 10 minutes) wins the price. The prizes have been $300-$1000 dollars on cruises I've been on. It's a lot of fun, when your playing people are cheering behind you, etc. Yelling, jackpot, jackpot and you'd be amazed how high your credits get just playing maximum credits for 10 minutes. It's a lot of fun for the money - try it. They have blackgack tournaments in the same fashion, you get $1000 to play for your $10.00 and at the end of 10 hands whoever has the most money goes onto the big board, and at the end of the tournment the 10 ten play in the final round with another $1000 and the person witht the most money at the end of 10 hands wins the $300-$1000 (whatever the prize is that time).
