I have found that Princess and NCL have relatively decent bar set up plans. You can pre-order in cabin bar set up with a couple of bottles of your favorite liquor at a fairly reasonable price. For us it is about $10 more per bottle than we can obtain it locally. It sure beats lugging it across the country and having gin soaked underwear. On NCL they also offer VERY reasonable mixers to go with the bar set up. Tonic water for $5/six. This has to be ordered once you board.

Also NCL has an aggressive confiscation procedure. They use the baggage scan to identify bottles and then ask the owners to come and pick up their baggage and they held the liquor until the last night of the cruise. On our last cruise on the Star, our neighbors were not happy about this.

Take care,
Mike
