OK, here is a question from a first timer
. I have read that there are certain standards as to how much you tip each person, waiter, assistant waiter etc. What I would like to know is this: How many different people/postions are we supposed to tip and how often? I can understand the restaurant staff, but do you tip per meal, or just one large tip per day per person? I read $3.50 per day for waiter, ($3.50 for each meal?) If I understand it correctly you tip the Head waiter, waiter, asst. waiter for sure. But who else could/should be tipped? Who am I missing so that I can be prepared for the costs? And if you put this all on your seapass card, do they give you an invoice, for example, for the tipping based on each individual person you are tipping? Never having sailed before I am not sure what to expect or prepare for.
